Henri Studios has been making fountains for over 40 years. It all began when Tuscan sculptor Eneri Prosperi came to America and began combining traditional sculpting techniques with stone casting technology. Cast stone is special blend of cement with coarse and fine minerals, color pigments, and water. It is a highly dense, simulated stone with a texture similar to limestone. The specially made finishes convey vivid natural stone highlights and subtle organic tones. The size and weight of this fountain may require freight shipping. Each fountain is made to order so please allow 2-3 weeks of extra time for delivery. Since each fountain is custom made, there may be slight variations.

Winter Care for Decorative Fountains and Ponds

If you live in a part of the country that suffers severe winter weather, you’re going to want to take some steps to protect your outdoor fountains and ponds. Fully drain the water from the fountain or pond before the first big freeze. If possible, cover the fountain bowl or turn it upside down to prevent water from collecting. If this isn’t an option, you can cover the fountain with a tarp to prevent water from pooling in it over the winter months. For smaller fountains, you might want to consider storing them inside in a garage or storage shed. For all fountains and pools, remove the pump and store it inside over the winter. This will protect the pump from inclement weather and greatly extend the useable life of the device.
